What got you interested in cycling?

A guy by the name of John Podgett while I was working at a grocery store and going to UNT.  He used to ride a Masi to work and was on the UNT cycling team.  I rode with him in '88 and '89, I then took a cycling class at UNT where I met a guy that worked at Denton Bike Center.  We rode a few HHH rides during the late 80's and early 90's.  This was also when Greg Lemond was huge in cycling so this motivated me somewhat as well.
