Where were you born?

Dallas

What’s your Club nickname?

Slamnsam

What got you interested in cycling?

After a hurricane in Mexico cancelled a vacation, Susi and I decided to invest in a couple of bikes. Having been a runner I was immediately hooked on a fun way to exercise that was not as hard on the knees. Little did I know just how addictive and just how much fun it was going to be.

How long have you been cycling?

July 2005

What is your primary bike?

Specialized Roubaix S-Works

What is your favorite meal after a long day in the saddle?

Peanut butter sandwich and a fruit smoothie

Favorite local restaurant?

Green House or El Matador

Favorite local business?

Bicycle Path

If you could ride your bike anywhere in the world, where would it be?

France or California

What is your favorite thing about the Corinth Cycling Club?

Everyone is very friendly and a heck of a lot a fun to ride with. No one takes themselves too seriously and everyone willingly helps their fellow members. Except the few grumpy old men, like me!

Anything you want to share with folk s considering riding with your group? B-Stingers is intended to be a development ride for those moving up from the C group who want to increase their speed and seasoned riders wanting a ride averaging 16 to 17.5 mph. It is a no- drop ride, but will have times where faster riders can take the pace up, but all riders will regroup at a point down the road. We will insure everyone arrives back at Crownover. At times the group may split, with those having shorter riding time available turning back at certain points (30-35 miles), while other riders wanting longer rides continue (45-65+ miles). Both will be no-drop. Those wanting a faster pace should definitely step up to the B-Killers.
