What got you interested in cycling?

I got a hybrid to cross-train from marathon running when a friend convinced me to join her MS 150 team. After that ride, I crossed over to the dark side.

How long have you been cycling?

Since 2004

What is your primary bike?

A Trek WSD 1000

What is your favorite meal after a long day in the saddle?

Does a Starbucks signature hot chocolate and a piece of pumpkin bread count as a meal?

Favorite local restaurant? 

Shogun’s Sushi at State School Road and I35E. Ask for Dei Lei.

Favorite Lake Cities business?

Cingin Pens--my husband’s new business opening soon in Corinth.

If you could ride your bike anywhere in the world, where would it be?

The Great Wall of China in Beijing.

What is your favorite thing about the Corinth Cycling Club?

The meet and greet just before the group starts.  It’s great to see everybody laughing and showing off their brand new toys. It’s the only time I see the A-Group!

Anything you want to share with folks considering riding with your group?

I just want to encourage all the riders who love the Big Steamers updates but are a little intimidated by the speeds to ride out with us. We have a lot of fun and are prone to stop off and sample breakfast tacos at Fuzzy’s or warm up at Starbucks during a cold ride. We sneak in miles, too!
